The Magic of HyperREZ UV (Base Coat & Metallic Coat)

The backbone of this breathtaking floor is our HyperREZ UV, the most versatile 100% solids epoxy in our line. This crystal-clear, self-priming epoxy resin boasts superior UV and chemical resistance, making it ideal for both base and top coats in areas with low to moderate UV exposure. Formulated specifically for our Metallic Marble System, HyperREZ UV has earned the nickname "Magic Metallic Epoxy" due to the stunning 3D dynamic flow it imparts to metallic floors.

Both the base coat and the metallic coat were pigmented HyperREZ UV, ensuring a rich and vibrant color that sets the stage for a truly spectacular finish. With 45 minutes of working time, HyperREZ UV allows ample opportunity to create unique and artistic metallic swirls, resulting in beautiful, seamless, and durable floors that are easy to clean. Its buttery smooth viscosity and ability to withstand up to 9 lbs. of hydrostatic pressure make it perfect for high-build protective coatings.

Achieving the Perfect Satin Finish with H2O ZioTHANE (Low Gloss)

After laying down the base and metallic coats with HyperREZ UV, the installation team turned their attention to achieving the perfect top coat. At the customer's request, we used H2O ZioTHANE (Low Gloss) to create a modern, satin finish. This water-based polyurethane top coat is known for its exceptional durability and ease of application, providing a beautiful, low-gloss finish that enhances the metallic effects without overpowering them. The team praised the product, saying, "The ZioTHANE low gloss urethane topcoat is awesome! Glassed out and made all the detail in the floor come to life!"
